Joe Apgar: 18 years later, $350 million later raised by all of you, there's new treatments developed, prevention protocols, we've recruited some of the best and brightest scientists in the world here to Columbus to tackle cancer. And it's all because of you. This is what I think makes Ride Weekend just so incredibly special. There will be cancer survivors this weekend who will ride with someone from their care team. There will be a caregiver that's out in this crowd right now that's going to meet the doctor that saved the person they love. And there's going to be a patient out here this weekend that sees the nurse that spent time with them at night during the worst night of their life, that made them feel better, that gave them hope, that gave them a source of inspiration to be here. And so, that is why The James is so special.

Lia Frost: So I have brain cancer, and one of the treatments that I got was a less toxic form of radiation. That advancement in technology allowed me to fight my cancer, but also maintain my cognition and maintain my independence. I get to be a mom and a wife and work in a career that I love. So I hope you can see that you're really not fundraising, you're really giving us, all these survivors up here, the chance at a really beautiful life.
