Health Talks: Early lessons shape leadership approach of the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center’s new CEO

John J. Warner, MD, thinks of health care as an ecosystem. And, like all ecosystems, nurturing the individual parts benefits the whole. That begins by putting the patient and their families at the center of decision making. As the new chief executive officer for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and executive vice president at The Ohio State University, Dr. Warner is bringing decades of leadership from a lifelong career at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas to the Buckeye state.
