The Pelotonia Research Center is where Ohio State researchers will study the most complex health issues and innovate new solutions and approaches.
The space is named in recognition of Pelotonia’s collaboration with Ohio State. To date, since 2008, Pelotonia riders have raised more than $260 million for cancer research at Ohio State.
The five-story, 305,000 square-foot center will be home to innovative teams who come together to tackle dilemmas too big and too complex to be solved by a single discipline or school of thought. Researchers will find new ways to look at cancer, heart disease, mental illness and problems associated with aging. Researchers will also study how food systems affect people and the environment — work that is transforming how we understand the links among agriculture, our planet and global health.
