Pelotonia, an annual cycling event that began in Columbus, has raised over $309 million for cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Richard J. Solove Research Institute and Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital (OSUCCC – James).

How is that money making a difference?

It enables research that's led to better treatments and pulls together the top research talent worldwide to collaborate on solutions for a cancer-free world. It pioneered a landmark investment that helped establish the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology at the OSUCCC – James. With the help of Pelotonia dollars, some cancers that were once a death sentence can now be managed as chronic diseases and sometimes curable illnesses. Below are a few highlights of that work.
